Technology plays an increasingly important role in teaching classes and presents exciting opportunities for dynamic instruction. This annual symposium is designed to discuss current issues and trends in accessible technology, and provide information about universal design and building accessible content for classroom and marketing materials.

Miami's 4th annual symposium will be a two-day event, in partnership Ohio AHEAD (Association on Higher Education and Disability). In addition to Thursday's schedule of events focusing on accessibility at Miami, we will be hosting Ohio AHEAD's Annual Conference on Friday. Their theme for this year is "The Changing Landscape of Higher Education and Disability."

Symposium Sponsors: Student Disability Services (Oxford Campus), Student Disability Services (Regional Campuses), Student Affairs, IT Services, University Communications and Marketing, Office of the President, Office of the Provost, Office of Institutional Diversity, College of Arts and Science, University Libraries, Miami University Bookstore, Regional Campus Marketing & Public Affairs, Global Initiatives, Rinella Learning Center, and the Center for Teaching Excellence.
