Four children paint a colorful project

Saturday Art

The Saturday Art program is staffed by faculty and undergraduate students from the Art Education area. A six-week visual art curriculum is written and taught by undergraduate students as part of ART 495, "Practicum in Art Education”. The program provides important supervised teaching experience for the Miami students, as well as an enriching and creative experience for the Saturday Art students.

This very successful and popular program serves the greater Oxford community and is open to anyone from age 4 through adult. The courses are each Saturday for six weeks with a final celebration and exhibition taking place on the seventh week.
