Meggan received her BFA degree from Miami University in 1994. She has been designing and creating costumes for Miami since 1990, twice winning regional design awards from the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. Her costume design for The Devils was recognized with a Certificate of Merit from KCACTF. She has been in her current role as Costume Studio Supervisor since 1995.

Meggan has designed and crafted costumes for numerous local and regional theatre groups, including GHCT, OxACT, the Fitton Center's Mad Anthony Theatre Company, and the Dallas based Murder Mystery Players. Other professional credits include working as a costumer for the Miami Valley Dinner Theatre, Porthouse Theatre, Glimmerglass Opera Festival, and Stages, St. Louis. Her work for Glimmerglass was seen in the New York Times, onstage at the New York Metropolitan Opera, and in Oslo, at the opening of the Norwegian National Opera.

Meggan has enjoyed careers as a commercial artist for Gibson Greeting Cards, and as a featured vocalist with several Cincinnati based professional bands, including The Sounds big band, the Cecil Young Orchestra, the L & M big band, the Proctor and Gamble big band, and others. She has several professional acting credits, and  continues to perform, on occasion. She is the mother of two musically talented sons, Jake and Nathan Witt. She is also mom-in-law to Linn, Jake's beautiful Norwegian bride.

She supervises the student costume construction and costume running crew labs for the production season, occasionally designs costumes, and teaches stage makeup.
