Through resume and cover letter support, interview preparation, and access to Handshake — Miami’s platform for internships and jobs — students engage directly with employer partners and real-world opportunities. Work-based learning and Work+ experiences allow students to gain hands-on experience, build professional skills, and connect with employers who help shape projects, internships, and career pathways leading to full-time roles.

Ohio Means Jobs (OMJ) is a valued partner of Career Services at Miami Regionals and Butler County’s leading workforce resource for job seekers and employers, now conveniently located at the Advanced Manufacturing Workforce and Innovation Hub on our Hamilton campus. OMJ offers a wide range of services, including job search support, employee recruitment, training opportunities, and assistance with overcoming employment barriers. Through these efforts, OMJ helps individuals build self-sufficiency while strengthening the local economy.
