CAS celebrates National First-Generation Day 2024 by recognizing two first-generation students
Krist Ha (Physics) and Kelsie Jackson (Physician Associate Program) are winners of the 2024 CAS Outstanding First-Generation Student Award.
- Adrian Dooley '25 (Political Science; Data Analytics) was among several students in Kevin Reuning’s Public Opinion Lab who created a survey for Ohio voters about the 2024 presidential election and received attention in social media and The New York Times.
- Mollie Duffy, a Public Administration major and secretary for governmental relations in Miami's associated student government, educates peers on voting options and organizes Democracy Bus to ensure student voices are heard at the ballot box.
- Julia Jacobs, a double major in Professional Writing and Strategic Communication, represented Ohio at the National American Miss competition over Thanksgiving break and advocates for student leadership roles on campus.
