Redhawk Recruiting Summit
The Career Center invites new and existing employer partners to attend the inaugural Redhawk Recruiting Summit on Tuesday, August 5, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Armstrong Student Center. This event will bring employers to campus ahead of fall recruiting season to learn how to expand and deepen their engagement at Miami, while connecting with faculty, staff, and other recruiting professionals.
Event Schedule
The Redhawk Recruiting Summit will take place in the Armstrong Student Center pavilion and conference rooms.
- 9:30 a.m. - Optional Campus Tour, Meet at Armstrong Information Center
- 10:30 a.m. - Check-In, Armstrong Pavilion
- 11 a.m. - Welcome and Student Panel, Armstrong Pavilion
- 12:30 p.m. - Lunch, Armstrong Pavilion
- 1:30 p.m. - Breakout Sessions, Conference Rooms, First Floor
- 2:30 p.m. - Breakout Sessions, Conference Rooms, First Floor
- 3:30 p.m. - Closing Session, Armstrong Pavilion
- 4 p.m. - Happy Hour, Armstrong Pavilion
Breakout Sessions
Breakout sessions will allow employers to select the topics of greatest interest to your recruiting needs while connecting with Miami University staff and networking with other recruiting professionals. Topics include but are not limited to:
- Industry roundtable discussions
- Employer engagement in the classroom
- Elevating your organization’s brand at Miami University
- Miami’s new co-op program
- Employer engagement with student organizations

Look for information about University visitor parking permits via email in late July. - Call (513) 529-6911 or visit The Marcum website to book your reservation. Add group code REDHAWKRECRUIT to access the discounted rate. Unreserved rooms will be released on July 25.
