KNH Talks series offers students insight, research, and connections

The Department of Kinesiology, Nutrition, and Health (KNH) has announced its fall 2025 KNH Talks series, featuring faculty, students, and alumni sharing their expertise on timely topics in health, exercise, and nutrition.

The series begins Sept. 8 with Karly Geller, Ph.D., and Brandy Reeves-Doyle, Ph.D., presenting Childhood vaccine hesitancy: All the (mis)information you need to know. Other sessions will highlight research on exercise during pregnancy, innovative approaches to cancer care, blood flow restriction therapy, cardiovascular regulation, and sport performance.

The lineup also includes alumni speakers Karman Meyer, RDN, LDN, best-selling author of Eat to Sleep, and Joey Sauerland, who will discuss performance in sport shooting. Students will also present their work at the KNH Student Poster Forum on Nov. 12 in Phillips Hall.

KNH Talks are open to all students and provide an opportunity to learn more about the field, engage with current research, and connect with faculty, peers, and alumni.
