First-Gen Career Readiness Certificate

Calling all First-Generation College Students! Are you interested in furthering your professional development? Do you want to learn how you can become more career ready? Earn your First-Gen Career Readiness Certificate by attending Center for Career Exploration and Success programs.
If you complete this program, you will:
- Increase your career readiness competencies
- Begin to develop or enhance your global perspective
- Make connections that can lead to future experiential learning opportunities
To earn your certificate, choose 1-2 events in each category for a total of 5 programs/events. By doing so, you will also be eligible to receive the below incentives:
- $150 in Miami Declining Balance Dollars for the 2022 Spring Semester
- Be entered into a drawing to receive $300 towards your professional development (2 recipients)
- Become eligible to receive an internship grant, pending you meet the application requirements
