    • Recruiters will often message students via handshake to invite them to networking events or encourage them to apply online. Chatting with a recruiter is a great way to make a personal connection to the companies you want to work for. When you get a message from a recruiter, make sure you reply quickly to show your interest and stand out from other candidates.
