Spring Career and Internship Fair

Tuesday, February 24 | 1 – 5 p.m. | Millett Hall

Registration: Students | Employers

The spring’s signature networking event, designed for students of all majors and class years interested in full-time or internship roles.

Architecture + Design Career and Internship Fair

Monday, February 23 | 1 – 4 p.m. | Shriver Center JDOL Rooms

Registration: Students | Employers

Draws architecture/construction firms and organizations hiring in communication/graphic design, digital marketing, interior design, and user interface/experience design.

Graduate Career Consortium PhD and Master’s Virtual Career Expo

Thursday, March 4 | 12 – 4 p.m. | Online

Registration: Students | Employers

Connects graduate students, postdocs, and alumni from STEM, humanities, and social sciences fields to employers.

 A collaboration between area universities, features teaching, psychology, social work, and counseling opportunities from 100+ school districts.

Resume Printing

We’ll print out up to 10 free resumes for you. Just fill out our Resume Printing Form! Within one business day, you can pick up your resumes at the Career Center.

Stand Out Online: Professional Headshot Booth

Update your Handshake and LinkedIn profiles with a new head shot from our Professional Headshot Booth. This FREE service is quick and easy to use. You’ll even receive your digital photos the same day.

Location and Hours

  • The booth is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Career Center (45 Armstrong).
  • The process only takes five to 10 minutes.
  • You can apply filters, eliminate blemishes, whiten teeth, and more through the booth’s innovative, self-service design.
  • If you anticipate or experience a disability-related barrier to using the booth, contact careercenter@MiamiOH.edu to schedule a headshot appointment.

Process and Delivery

  • Drop by! No appointment is needed. 
  • If using your phone:
    • Scan the QR Code and follow the on-screen instructions.
    • Make sure your phone doesn’t lapse into “rest mode” or you will need to finish your photo session using the touch screen.
  • You will be emailed your photos by no-reply@iris-booth.com. Create a free account, then log into the platform to download your headshots.

First Time at a Career Fair?

Don’t fear! We invite all first-year students and students who haven’t attended a career fair before to stop by our First-Year, First-Time Friendly Table. 

Available at our career fairs in Millett Hall, you’ll learn what to expect from our staff and then set out on a self-guided tour. The tour includes:

  • First-Year, First-Time Friendly Table
  • Info Table
  • Elevator Pitch Table
  • Self-Guided Tour/Check-Out Table

Professional attire is not required unless you want to speak to employers. Check out the attending employers on Handshake because there are opportunities for first-year students!
