What is your favorite thing about the Farmer School?
I think my favorite thing about Farmer School of Business must be the networking opportunities that you can take advantage of. I think that a lot of other colleges don't give you as many front-facing opportunities with companies and firms, such as case competitions. My case competition with US Bank really changed the trajectory of my college and professional career.
What’s the point of a business fraternity?
I think a business fraternity, at least at Miami University, is an organization that fosters all the important aspects of the Farmer School of Business, and then allows people who want to take it a step further in a community of like-minded people outside of class to be able to do that.
How has been part of the Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity helped you?
DSP has been awesome in terms of developing me professionally as fast as possible. They really took all the things that I knew I wanted to get out of Miami, and then within my first semester in the chapter, I feel like I was able to get to where I wanted to be as a senior in that first month, just because they're pushing as hard as possible, whether that's with the mentorship program or the company trips that we take. Everyone's really looking out for each other, whether it's sending them internship opportunities, helping them prepare their resumes or prep for interviews.
