John Porchowsky, project manager in the Physical Facilities Department of Planning, Architecture and Engineering, received $1 million from the Ohio Department of Transportation, pass-through funds from the U.S. Department of Transportation, for the project entitled "OXD EV Charging."

Sarah Watt, associate professor of Educational Psychology, and Racheal Rothrock, associate professor of Teaching, Curriculum, and Educational Inquiry, received $750,000 from the Ohio Department of Higher Education, of which $695,025 is for the lead project entitled "Center of Excellence in Literacy, Research, and Development." The remaining $54,975 of this award is designated to the evaluation portion of the project led by Yue Li in the Discovery Center for Evaluation, Research and Professional Learning.

Claire McLeod, associate professor of Geology and Environmental Earth Science, and Natalie Samollow, assistant professor of Geography, received $417,353  from the National Science Foundation for a project entitled "REU Site: Research and Education Supporting Opportunities for Undergraduate Readiness for Careers in Earth Systems (RESOURCES)."

Nichole Carr, assistant clinical professor, Adrienne Newman, director of practicum education, Angela Black, and Amy Roberts, associate professor, of Family Science and Social Work, received $336,000 from Health Impact Ohio, with pass-through funds from the Ohio Department of Behavioral Health, for the project entitled "Miami University Behavioral Health Scholarship Program."

Yoshinori Tomoyasu, associate professor of Biology, received $259,649 from the National Science Foundation for a project entitled "MCA: Expanding Taxonomic Perspectives in Evolutionary DevelopmentalResearch."

Elizabeth Bath, assistant athletic director of business operations and services, received $329,808 from the Mid-American Conference (MAC), pass-through funds from the National Collegiate Athletic for the project entitled "NCAA Student-Athlete Opportunity Fund.” Bath also received $46,132 from the MAC, pass-through funds from the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), for the project entitled "NCAA Special Assistance Fund,” and $83,214 for the project entitled "NCAA Academic Enhancement Fund."

Daniel Prior, professor of History, received 65,000 Euros ($75,088 USD) from the Wissenschaftskolleg zu Berlin for a project entitled "Steppe Horizons of Indo-European Myth."

Lori Libby, senior project manager for Ohio Public Works in the Institute for the Environment and Sustainability, received $65,000 from the Ohio Public Works Commission for the project entitled "District #10 Administrative Cost Program - Ohio Public Works Commission.

Kevin Yehl, assistant professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry, received $56,400 from PGXl Technologies LLC, pass-through funds from the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development, for a project entitled "Selecting Aptamers for Urocortin-3 (UCON3) Peptide."

Rebecca Baudry Young, director of the Office of Student Health and Wellness, received $50,000 from PreventionFIRST!, with pass-through funds from the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, for the project entitled "Ohio Collegiate Peer Education Project."

Patti Liberatore, director of the Performing Arts Series, received $23,269 from the Ohio Arts Council for the project entitled "26-27 Performing Arts Series Season."

Donghyung Lee, associate professor of Statistics, and Grace Koo, graduate student, received $23,400 from the Ohio Space Grant Consortium, pass-through funds from the Ohio Department of Development, for a project entitled "Ancestry-Informed Genetic Risk Prediction for Precision Health in Human Spaceflight."

Anthony James and Kevin Bush, professors of Family Studies and Social Work, received $18,000 from the Butler County Educational Service Center for the project entitled "Evaluation of the Butler County Success Program." James also received $4,600 from the Butler County Educational Service Center for the project entitled "Evaluation of Kinship Navigator."

Reza Akhtar and Tao Jiang, professors of Mathematics, received $16,150 from the National Science Foundation for a project entitled "Joint MIGHTY LXVI and 52nd Miami University Annual Conference."

Lindsey Holden, senior director of undergraduate admissions in the Office of Admission, received $12,960 from the Scioto Foundation for the project entitled "Summer Scholars Program."

Narcisse Randrianantoanina, professor of Mathematics, received $7,800 from the American Mathematical Society, pass-through funds from the Simons Foundation, for a project entitled "Non-Commutative Analysis and Martingales."

Simon Buechler, assistant professor of Finance, received $7,500 from the Real Estate Research Institute for the project entitled "From Vacancy to Vitality: How NYC Conversions Shape Rents and Neighborhoods."

Cameron Hay-Rollins, professor and chair of Anthropology, received $6,075 from the Briermost Foundation for a project entitled "Analysis of On the Road of Recovery Videos."

Ashley Love, assistant professor of Biology and affiliated with the Ecology Research Center, received $1,855 from the Wilson Ornithological Society for a project entitled "Neonicotinoid Pesticides: Influences on Avian Health and Host-Parasite Interactions."
