Check your student account and pay any charges that are due.

If you’re expecting a refund, or you haven’t already signed up, enroll in RedHawk Refunds direct deposit.

Any refunds due to you from Miami will be disbursed to your U.S. bank account. If you are an international student returning to your home country, make sure to keep this account open until you receive your refund.

Make sure you update your address information. 

Also, to ensure the timely delivery of your diploma, complete the Diploma Address/Attendance Form if you haven’t already done so.

Contact the libraries to make sure you have returned any library books and paid outstanding fines.

If you are a student loan borrower, your required exit interviews will help you understand your rights and responsibilities. More information about your loans can be found on our Know Before You Owe page.

If you have Perkins or Institutional loans, complete your exit interview. If you have Federal Direct Loans, or the TEACH Grant, complete your exit interview.

For information about commencement, and divisional ceremonies and recognition programs, review the Commencement Website thoroughly. It includes timelines, a seating information map, the answers to frequently asked questions, and much more.

 

Complete the First Destination Survey to let the University know where you’re going after graduation. This survey, which requires you to log in with your Unique ID, should take between 5-10 minutes to complete. Providing this information will help Miami best support future students and alumni.
