Undergraduate Programs

The Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing program at Miami University is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

The initial accreditation was from 2010-2015. The most recent survey visit was 2014; the CCNE Board of Review re-accredited the Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing program through 2024. Miami University Department of Nursing is hosting a CCNE Accreditation Visit in Fall of 2023.

The Miami University Bachelor of Science Nursing Program has approval from the Ohio Board of Nursing.  The most recent visit/review by the Board was 2020. The Board may be reached at 17 S. High Street, Suite 400, Columbus, OH, 43215.  Phone (614) 466-3947. 

Graduate Programs

Both graduate programs will seek accreditation from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Following CCNE’s accreditation process, both programs are anticipated to have full approval applied to the first graduating class. MSN anticipated full accreditation in Fall 2023. DNP full accreditation in Fall 2025.
