Mike Heim
Baseball, 2004-2007
Mike Heim distinguished himself as an outstanding student-athlete during his career at Miami University Middletown playing baseball from 2003-2007, leaving a lasting legacy both on the field and beyond.
>A consistent force in the ORCC, Heim earned First Team All- ORCC honors in 2005, followed by Second Team all ORCC recognition in 2006, and Honorable Mention All ORCC in 2007. His excellence was further recognized in 2007 when he received the prestigious Warrior Award, honoring leadership, dedication, and impact on the program.Mike also holds many career stats at MUM including #3 in at bats (392), #2 in hits in career (146), #2 in runs scored in (94), and #1 in the number of walks drawn (79). In the classroom Heim demonstrated the same commitment to excellence, earning a place on the Academic Honor Roll in 2005.
Before his collegiate career, Heim was already an accomplished athlete at the high school level (Walnut Hills). From 1997 to 1999, he was named First Team All- Queen City Conference each season. In 1999, he led Cincinnati in triples (7), was selected to play in the High School All-Star Game, and was voted Team Offensive MVP, Defensive MVP, and Overall MVP, underscoring his complete and dominant performance.
Following his graduation, Heim continued to build a successful professional and personal life. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Cincinnati and has spent the past 12 years as an accountant at Priority Dispatch in Cincinnati, where he is respected for his professionalism and work ethic.
Above all, Mike is proud of his family. He is a devoted husband to his wife Kelsey, whom he has been married to for four years, and a loving father to his son Henry (3) and step daughter Ava (15).
Chanee Uribe
Men's and Women's Tennis Coach, 1998-2020
Chanée Uribe is a 1991 graduate of Middletown High School. She attended Eureka College in Eureka, Illinois (1991–1995) as a Ronald W. Reagan Scholar. While at Eureka, she served as president of the freshman, sophomore, and junior classes and was elected Student Body President as a senior. Chanée earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Athletic Training, and later completed a master’s degree in Physical Therapy at Andrews University.
Chanée developed a love for tennis at an early age through the Todd Tennis Program, participating each summer and later returning as an instructor while in high school. She also volunteered as a ball girl for the ATP tennis tournament in Mason, Ohio. At Middletown High School, she was among the first athletes to earn varsity letters in two sports during the same season (tennis and soccer). As an adult, she worked for the City of Normal, Illinois Parks Department as a youth and adult tennis instructor.
Chanée returned to Middletown as head boys’ tennis coach at Middletown High School for one season before being named head men’s and women’s tennis coach at Miami University’s Middletown Campus, where she led the programs for 22 years. Under her leadership, the women’s team captured seven state championships and three conference titles. The men’s team won seven conference championships, including an impressive run of six consecutive state championships. Her dedication to competitive excellence, player development, and sportsmanship has left a lasting impact on countless student-athletes.
Coach Uribe is a physical therapist with experience in home care and long-term rehabilitation settings. She resides in Fairfield Township with her spouse of 29 years, Eduardo. They have four children: Brennan, Enrique, Elianna, and Brielle. Chanée also currently serves on the Board of Directors for the R. C. Todd Memorial Foundation.
Antonio Williams
Tennis, 2016-2020
Antonio Williams attended Miami University Middletown from 2016-2020, earning a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a thematic sequence in Organizational leadership. Graduating cum laude with a 3.79 GPA, Antonio distinguished themself as both an elite student and athlete.
Academically, he earned numerous honors, including multiple semesters on the Presidents' list and Deans list, The Miami University Regionals Education and Society Award and the Ted Clark Award. Antonio was also a two time C. Eugene Bennett Scholar Athlete of the year, recognizing the highest GPA among student Athletes at MUM. His academic excellence was further supported by an extensive list of over 6+ scholarships.
Athletically, Antonio was a cornerstone of the MUM tennis program. A four year captain, he competed at first singles and first doubles all four seasons. Antonio's career highlights include being a four time team state champion, two time individual singles state champion,two time team MVP and two time first team all conference selection. The team remained undefeated in league play during the 2018-19 and 2019-2020 season.
Following graduation, Antonio built a successful career in healthcare recruiting and staffing, earning five promotions in five years and currently working in talent acquisition and scouting. Antonio resides in Middletown with his wife, Madelyne, and their two kids Emersyn (4) and Roman (1). Antonio remains actively involved in tennis at the club level.
