JobsOhio Technician Path

The JobsOhio Technician Path gives Ohio employers a new way to build skilled technical talent while supporting employees as they earn industry-relevant credentials. Through the program, eligible employers can receive up to $10,000 per employee who progresses through an approved training pathway.

What is the JobsOhio Technician Pathway at Miami University?

Designed as an earn-and-learn initiative, the JobsOhio Technician Path enables regional organizations to cultivate a talent stream of skilled technical personnel. As workers pursue industry-focused credentials — such as Miami’s Manufacturing Foundations Certificate or associate degrees in Engineering Technology — qualifying businesses can gain up to $10,000 for each participating staff member.

These financial incentives are awarded upon reaching key enrollment, advancement, and credential milestones. While participating companies manage their program incentive funding through JobsOhio, Miami University delivers the high-quality academic training required to advance technical expertise across these strategic career routes.
