At times, everyone feels stressed, angry, depressed, anxious, or confused. Sometimes our interpersonal skills prevent us from expressing ourselves adequately. Sometimes, our values and goals conflict. Helpless? Hopeless? Suffering from low self-esteem? Not able to sleep, or sleeping too much? Maybe it's time to talk to a counselor. Don't be stuck in private despair. Make an appointment.
The counselor will not make decisions for you. You will learn to understand yourself, gain perspective, develop new skills, and mend relationships. You may discover a helpful community resource as well.
Personal counseling is a confidential relationship between the student and the counselor and is cost-free. When appropriate, referrals are made to community therapists or agencies.
