ReFUEL Assistance Process

• Once you fill out the form, you should be contacted within 2 work days by one of the ReFUEL members to let you know that we’re working on your request for assistance. Please watch your Miami email. If you asked to schedule an appointment to talk about your needs in depth, we will follow up with you to set up a meeting.
• In most cases, we will have a list of resources specific to your needs within a few days. Sometimes, we need a little more time but we will let you know and get you any resources you urgently need as soon as possible.
• Once we have compiled a list of campus and community resources for your circumstances, we will send it to you by the email you provided when filling out the intake form.

Some important things to keep in mind when filling out the form:

• Your privacy is important! None of your personal information will be shared outside of ReFUEL’s student resource center team with the exception of referring you to on-campus resources. We do report non-identifying information about student needs in general to the university, relevant university offices but none of that information can be traced back to you.
• None of the information you disclose will negatively impact your ability to receive assistance from ReFUEL and our campus/community partners.
• The demographic and student needs information that you provide not only helps us identify resources specific to your situation but also helps us to assist students in similar situations. However, if you do not feel comfortable sharing some of the information, you don’t have to. We totally understand!
