Impacted Miami Systems
With Miami’s transition to Workday, where and how you complete tasks may look a little different. Be sure to review the systems that will have their functionality replaced by Workday Student.
Miami University is in the process of transitioning to Workday Student. This change will impact how students and families engage in processes surrounding admissions, billing/payment, financial aid, registration, academic/personal records, and advising.
What is changing?
Miami will incorporate its Student Information Systems (SIS) into Workday. Workday will take the place of certain student applications, such as Banner Self Service.
When will it happen?
Though the transition to Workday will happen in phases starting in the fall of 2026, current students will not be impacted until the spring of 2027.
Who will be impacted?
Current students continuing at Miami for the 2027-28 academic year will be affected by the transition to Workday. Students who graduate before the fall of 2027 will not be impacted by this change.
How will students be affected?
Students will use Workday to complete various critical tasks, including course registration, bill payment, academic progress tracking, and more.
