Task Force for the Prevention of Sexual Assault

Miami University has addressed the topic of sexual assault several times in recent years with the intent to strengthen safety, increase awareness, and encourage a respectful and supportive campus community.

Last fall, following an inappropriate and threatening communication in a residence hall, Miami President David Hodge commissioned a Task Force for the Prevention of Sexual Assault. Goals included educational efforts, evaluation and enhancement of the university's direct response to incidents, and support for long-term solutions.
