Music@Miami Days provide high school students the opportunity to experience life as a music major at Miami University. Students can meet Miami faculty and students, hear performances, attend rehearsals and classes, and tour our facilities. Mini-lessons with applied music faculty can also often be arranged.

There are two separate Music@Miami Days in Fall 2018. Students are welcome to attend either day. Due to our ensemble rehearsal schedule, each day offers different opportunities:

  • Wednesday, September 19. Students who visit campus on this date will have the opportunity to observe the Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra.
  • Tuesday, October 2. Students who visit campus on this date will have the opportunity to observe Chamber Singers, Collegiate Chorale, Choraliers, Men’s Glee Club, Jazz Ensemble and Percussion Ensemble.

The MU Marching Band rehearses daily from 4:25-5:55 P.M., and so students could observe this ensemble on either date.
