If you want to try scuba diving, but aren't quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is for you. While not a scuba certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world. No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary.

• Confined water dives to learn basic scuba skills
• Open water dives to use your skills and explore

• Must be at least 10 years old
• Need to be in reasonable physical health

What will you learn?

The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:

• Knowledge Development in a classroom to understand basic principles of scuba diving
• Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills
• Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore (This is a separate class that you will schedule with your instructor)

What scuba gear will you use?

In the PADI Open Water Diver course, you learn to use basic scuba gear, including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device and a tank. The equipment you wear varies, depending upon whether you're diving in tropical, temperate or cold water.

All scuba equipment will be provided, as well as the course materials that you will need for this class.

What you will need to bring to class:

• Swim Suit
• Towel

• Need adequate swimming skills
• Need to be in good physical health
