Post-Graduate Teaching Fellowship

The Havighurst Post-Graduate Teaching Fellowship is a teaching and research fellowship. The Center partners with a home department where a Fellow will be based, one that allows the Fellow to teach courses in their discipline while also teaching upper-level courses related to the mission of the Havighurst Center.

The number of Fellows sponsored by the Center changes from year to year.  If new Fellowships will be offered, we will post details here and through other means, most likely by mid-February.  Applications are submitted through Miami University's online job site.

The fellowships are designed for junior scholars of exceptional promise who have completed their doctorate. Fellows will teach four courses and assist in developing Havighurst programs in the area of their interest; candidates also will have the opportunity to pursue their research agenda for a calendar year with the support of a competitive salary and up to $2,000 for research support.

Miami University is an equal opportunity employer and applications from female and minority scholars are strongly encouraged.
