Part-time Instructor

Rob Hinton, a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, has an extensive career in broadcasting. Along with numerous reporting jobs, he is the former executive producer of WKEF-TV News in Dayton, and the former program manager for Greater Dayton Public Television. On these networks, he hosted a weekly public affairs program, as well as numerous documentaries and television specials. He was also the moderator of the Louisiana Gubernatorial Debate, the only debate televised statewide. His work has been recognized by organizations like the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and the National Commission on Working Women. Before Miami, he taught Communications at Wilberforce University. Here at Miami, he teaches Writing for Media.
