Guyana Student Reflections Samantha Wolfe Global Field Program student Samantha Wolfe shares her experiences and memories of the 2022 Earth Expeditions: Guyana course in “Guyana… That’s in Africa, Right?”

“My title for this blog post comes from the many people I’ve simply educated about the geography of South America (and Africa). In fact, at the post office, noting the “S.A.” at the bottom of the envelope, she asked if it was in South Africa.” --Wolfe on mailing an article she wrote about her Guyana travels and submitted to her regional newspaper as part of her Authorship Leadership Challenge (ALC) requirement for graduation. Her article, “Agriculture Forum: Hands-On Learning in Guyana,” appears in the Traverse City Record-Eagle in July 2022.
