In Dirty Water? Clean It Up! Sarah Goodman, a 2021 Project Dragonfly alum, describes how she and fellow colleagues at Lower Dauphin HS planned and implemented a successful MWEE (Meaningful Watershed Educational Experience) with the support of The Chesapeake Bay Foundation. The experience had the entire ninth grade class outside analyzing stream health, using tech tools to look at impacts of stormwater runoff and connecting with their local community on ways to take care of their watershed.

The article appears in The Science Teacher, the National Science Teaching Association’s peer-reviewed practitioner journal for secondary level and high school science teachers.
