Global Field Program (GFP) graduate Amanda Badger '15, pictured above, gets ready to go live with Lollipop or "Lolly," a Pekin duck, on Fox Dayton Local 45. Lolly is one of over 60 animals and over 30 species, ranging from domesticated livestock to native wildlife to exotic animals at Wild Hearts African Farm n Lewisburg, Ohio. Wild Hearts, which Badger created as part of her final master's coursework, became the first Humane Certified™ zoo in Ohio in 2019. Columbus Zoo and The Wilds followed suit in 2023.

Badger earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Biology from Miami through Project Dragonfly‘s GFP while working as President of Wild Hearts Zoological Society.
