Two CEC Academic Advisors receive Master Advisor Professional Development Award
Wyatt Bischoff and Nick Stanford, two academic advisors at Miami University College of Engineering and Computing, recently received promotions and were honored with the Master Advisor Professional Development Award at the annual Academic Advising Awards luncheon.
Two CEC Academic Advisors receive Master Advisor Professional Development Award
Miami University College of Engineering and Computing academic advisors Wyatt Bischoff and Nick Stanford recently received promotions and were honored with the Master Advisor Professional Development Award at the annual Academic Advising Awards luncheon.
Bischoff and Stanford were both hired as academic advisors at CEC in the late spring of 2021 and have served as major assets to Miami’s academic advising team.
Bischoff is a Miami alumni who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry Teacher Education in 2019. Soon after, he received a Master of Arts in College Student Personnel at Bowling Green State University in 2021 before returning to Miami to guide CEC students in their education.
Stanford previously worked at Miami as a Resident Director at Withrow Hall in 2018 and received his Master of Education in Student Affairs from Iowa State University a year prior. Stanford got his undergraduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology, but has a passion for helping students.
Bischoff and Stanford, along with five other academic advisors, will be with provided $250 in professional development funds by the advisor's division for achieving Master Advisor status.
