Miami’s College of Engineering and Computing receives one of its largest single gifts in its history
The $1.5 million commitment will support recruitment of top faculty for Chemical, Paper and Biomedical Engineering at CEC.
The College of Engineering and Computing (CEC) has received a $1.5 million commitment to help ensure the best and brightest faculty are recruited to Miami.
A friend of the college and Miami, who has requested not to receive publicity at this time, is committing part of their estate to ensure that the Department of Chemical, Paper and Biomedical Engineering is able to recruit outstanding faculty members, with a specific interest in the Paper Science program, for future generations.
In addition to being one of the largest single gift commitments in CEC history, it is the second largest focused directly on faculty recruitment. Learn more about the impact of this generous gift
