A Message From the Dean:
When Miami University was recently named by Time as one of the country's Best Colleges for Future Leaders, I couldn't help but think of some of the phenomenal leaders who have graduated from the College of Engineering and Computing (CEC). Brian Niccol '96 leads Starbucks as CEO. Maria Bennett '95 leads SPR Therapeutics, Inc. as Founder and CEO. Brent Blouch '96 is President and COO of Swagelok. Juan Gilbert '91, a recipient of the National Medal of Technology and Innovation, was recently appointed to the National Science Board. And, just a few weeks ago, Lyndsey McMillon-Brown '13 was awarded the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers by President Biden.Learn how CEC is continuing to lead the way: through our extraordinary partnership with Cleveland Clinic, and student and alumni success on a national scale.
