Important Calendar Dates
The Center for Career Exploration and Success at Miami University acknowledges and takes in consideration religious holidays and holy days throughout the year for our planning purposes. We want to ensure all students have access to career opportunities regardless of their faith and spiritual practices. As you are identifying interview dates we encourage you to consider how you can be inclusive in your practices as well. If an employer selects a day that lands on a date of a holiday or holy day, we will reach out to request the employer provide an alternative way to interview students, who may not be able to meet on your selected date, due to religious observances. Often, telephone or virtual interviews would be an appropriate alternative. We are happy to work with you to find an alternative date as well.
