Cancelling Your Registration

Because of the unique way workshops are built, students are unable to cancel their registration through BannerWeb. Please complete the appropriate form below.

• Education Abroad/Away Program: Complete the Education Abroad Cancellation & Refund Request.
• Non-Travel Programs: Complete the Non-Travel Cancellation Request.

Refund Policy

Fall, Spring, and Summer Term Policy: You must request cancellation of your course registration no later than noon on the last business day before the program/course start date.

Winter Term Policy: You must request cancellation of your course registration by noon on the Monday following fall semester’s final exam week.

Tuition is non-refundable if you fail to notify Global Initiatives by the above deadlines, even if you do not participate in the program.

Cancellation of Program

If Miami University cancels a program, tuition, administrative fee, and program fees are fully refundable. You do not need to request the refund; it will be processed automatically.

Miami will not refund any out-of-pocket expenses paid by the student.

If Miami University does not cancel the program, but the student decides not to participate, any paid program fees are non-refundable. Tuition is refundable if the student notifies us by the cancellation date.
