Global Initiatives' Continuing Education offers and administers a variety of credit and non-credit programs that broaden the traditional Miami classroom experience for learners of all ages.

  • Our premier programs include the Global Partner Summer School, ed2go online professional development, and the Institute for Learning in Retirement.
  • For faculty or staff who want to offer their own unique program, we are ready to assist you in developing your program, whether that be for credit or non-credit. These programs can be offered on campus, online, and globally. Your audience may be Miami students, faculty, staff, or even community members.
  • We also offer registration and payment services, as well as an application portal for programs that travel.

These credit programs vary in lengths and credit hours and may be held on campus, in locations throughout Ohio, online and globally. A credit workshop is an enrollment-contingent, budgeted, academic program designed to encourage curricular innovation and provide service to special populations of learners, such as education abroad/away, online, and on campus.
