Marjorie Post Farrington Scholarship

• Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (at Miami University) and be admitted to and pursuing a graduate degree program at Miami University.
• Applicants must complete a FAFSA (for the academic year the scholarship would be awarded) and demonstrate financial need.
• Applicants are to prepare a letter summarizing their academic background and achievements, cite evidence of interests, accomplishments, and potential for leadership in an academic area and/or professional field of graduate study.
• Applicants must send one letter of recommendation from a current or past professor, employer, or supervisor. Recommenders should comment on the applicant's academic achievements and potential for leadership and send their letters directly to gradschool@MiamiOH.edu.
• Complete applications (including the FAFSA) must be received by Apr. 1 at 5:00 p.m. to be considered for the award in the following academic year.

The recipient will be expected to hold at least 3 graduate credit hours each semester, and to progress normally toward degree requirements.

Announcement of the award will be made by the end of April.
