IT Help Changes

On October 17, Blackboard went live as the primary channel for support used by IT Services at Miami University. We’ve been working hard to make sure the support given by the Blackboard team will be, by and large, no different than the service you’re used to. We’re happy to finally announce that the handover is complete!

12/21/2017 Update

  • IT Help offers support services 24 hours per day, seven days per week, 365 days per year - even on holidays!
  • We are still taking feedback and collecting data on the transition to Blackboard and welcome any comments.

11/3/2017 Update

  • On October 17, Blackboard went live as the primary channel for support used by IT Services.
  • IT Help can be accessed the same way by phone (513-529-7900) and chat (MiamiOH.edu/ITChat).
  • The three main factors that led to this decision were compliance, cost, and capability.
