Need to change your password or reset your recovery options? You're in the right place. Select your affiliation (student, faculty, staff, community, entity, or family), and then follow the instructions provided.

1. Navigate to MUnet Password Utilities (RI) and enter your username (first initial, surname, and numerical digit. Ex: jdoe2)
2. Click the Next button
3. Click the Forgot MUnet Password? link

Unable to perform self-service (e.g., the Forgot MUnet Password link is not showing up)? Check the Knowledge Base for assistance OR complete and submit your password reset request form

If a mobile phone number is configured for your account, you can also select Send an SMS Code

4. Check your email address or your mobile phone for a one-time access code
5. On the Email Authentication page, enter the one-time code
6. If you used SMS, enter the code on the Password Recovery: SMS page
7. Click the Next button
8. On the Update Password page, change your MUnet password following Standard: Passwords

16-255 characters

Minimum of one uppercase letter

Minimum of one lowercase letter

9. Click the Next button
10. Confirm your new password
11. Your password has been updated successfully! Click the Next button

1. Go to MUnet Password Utilities (RI)
2. Click the Forgot Username (UniqueID)? link
3. Enter the email address or mobile phone number you want to use to receive your username (UniqueID)

US phone number format: +1[areacode][number]
US phone number format: [area code][number]
International phone number format: +[countrycode][areacode][number]

4. Click the Send button
5. Open your email or phone to receive the reminder of your username (UniqueID)
6. Continue your log in with your recovered username (UniqueID)

1. Log in to MUnet Password Utilities (RI) using your UniqueID and MUnet password (Miami credentials)
2. Click the Next button
3. In upper-right corner of the screen, click your profile name and select Profile Settings from the drop-down

5. Update your personal email address and/or your mobile phone number
6. Click the Save button

4. Enter the current password

Please search your email account including the spam folder for an email from the @miamioh.edu domain and follow the claim instructions
