Position: Head Coach

Danielle Roe brings over a decade of coaching experience and a standout playing career at the high school, junior college, and NCAA DII levels to the helm of Miami University Hamilton Women's Basketball. In her first season leading the Harriers, Roe guided MUH to a 15-8 record while playing the #3 ranked toughest schedule in the USCAA, a Top 5 national ranking in all 12 poll weeks, and a 3-seed in the USCAA Division II National Championship Tournament.

The Harriers defeated Penn State Beaver 71-66 in the Elite 8, then upset #2 seed Maine- Augusta 81-66 to punch their ticket to Championship Saturday, where they earned a National Runner-Up finish — their second consecutive championship game appearance. The program produced three All-Americans, one Academic All-American, two All-Tournament selections, and maintained a 3.3 team GPA. Prior to MUH, Roe revitalized Harvest Prep’s program before serving as Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Sinclair College (NJCAA), helping lead the Tartans to a historic 28-6 season and an NJCAA DII Elite 8 appearance. She later guided Springfield Catholic Central to a league title and 25 wins over two seasons, and spent five years as Program Director for a grassroots girls basketball organization across Ohio. A Springfield South (Springfield, OH) and Sinclair College alum, Roe is a 1,000-point scorer at both the high school and college levels and one of the few to win conference titles at Sinclair as both a player and coach.

She holds a B.S. in Communication Arts from Kentucky Wesleyan College and is the owner of Coach Roe Consulting LLC.

Danielle believes that creating championship experiences in all aspects of life is what has set her apart in this profession.

Position: Assistant Coach 

Deidra Brown enters her second season with the Miami University Hamilton Women’s Basketball program after helping the Harriers establish themselves among the nation’s best during a memorable first year on staff.

In her first season at Miami Hamilton, Brown helped guide the Harriers to a 15-8 record, a Top 5 national ranking throughout the season, and a USCAA Division II National Runner-Up finish. The postseason run capped a successful year that also saw three Harriers earn All-American honors and two players named to the USCAA National Championship All-Tournament Team.

Brown takes great pride in helping build a competitive culture at Miami Hamilton centered around player development, accountability, and championship-level expectations. Entering year two, she is excited to continue building on the program’s national success while helping student-athletes grow both on and off the court.

Prior to joining the Harriers, Brown spent four seasons as a varsity assistant coach at Middletown High School, where she helped develop five student-athletes who went on to earn opportunities to play basketball at the collegiate level. She also gained experience coaching on the Nike EYBL circuit at the 14U and 15U levels, working with talented young players in one of the nation’s elite basketball environments.

A former collegiate combo guard, Brown brings a player’s perspective to her approach to development and mentorship. She competed for two seasons at the NCAA Division II level at Tiffin University and three seasons at the NAIA level at Wilberforce University.

Brown earned her Bachelor of Arts in Rehabilitation from Wilberforce University (‘13).
