Emphasizing applied science and engineering, our programs prepare students for successful careers in the field. Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology

Miami University Regionals Engineering Technology programs combine applied learning, industry-informed curriculum, and real-world projects to prepare you for careers in robotics, automation, manufacturing, and engineering systems. Electrical, Computer, and Robotics

The Electrical, Computer, and Robotics concentration prepares students for careers designing, programming, operating, and maintaining intelligent systems used in robotics, automation, advanced manufacturing, and smart technologies. Graduates are prepared for positions in product development, process control, systems integration, manufacturing, testing, technical sales, and service.

Electromechanical and Automation

The Electromechanical and Automation concentration prepares students to design, integrate, troubleshoot, and maintain automated systems used in advanced manufacturing and industrial environments. Graduates are prepared for careers in automation, robotics, manufacturing operations, systems integration, controls, and industrial maintenance..

Mechanical and Industrial

The Mechanical and Industrial concentration prepares students to improve the design, production, and performance of products and manufacturing systems. Graduates are prepared for careers in manufacturing, operations, quality, process improvement, industrial engineering, and supply chain operations.

Applied Science

The Applied Science concentration is a bachelor's completion program designed for students who have earned an associate degree in a technical field. The program expands students' technical knowledge and leadership skills while preparing them for advanced careers in manufacturing, automation, engineering systems, and other technology-driven industries.

Associate Degrees

Flexible course scheduling allows many of our students to work full time while earning one of our associate degrees. The Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology and Mechanical Engineering Technology associate degrees provide a seamless pathway into our Bachelor’s degree programs.

Certificate

With our Manufacturing Foundations Certificate, you can enter the workforce or smoothly continue your education toward earning an associate or bachelor’s degree in one of Miami Regionals Engineering Technology programs.

Microcredentials

Select from one of our Microcredentials ranging from Agile-Certified Professional to Manufacturing Fundamentals. You can earn a digital credential in just nine credit hours, often entirely online.

Miami University Regionals Career Services and Professional Development helps Engineering Technology majors build valuable industry connections and gain hands-on experience through internships, and networking opportunities.

Each year, Career Services meets with over 100 industries, and many of them are looking for ENT majors.

ENT students have secured internships with local employers such as SunCoke Energy, Systecon, Cincinnati Test Systems, Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc., Stoneridge Control Devices, and Cincinnati Incorporated.
