Apply by Dec. 1 to make the most of your financial assistance. Meeting this deadline ensures you have the best opportunity to be considered for scholarships and aid.

To meet an application deadline, your application must be complete (all required materials received or postmarked by the deadline).

Glossary of Terms

  1. Binding - Admitted students are contractually obligated to withdraw applications from other institutions and accept their Miami admission offer.
  2. Non-Binding - Admitted students are not contractually obligated to Miami.
  3. Spring start is not an option for the Architecture, Interior Design, Music Education, and Music Performance programs.
  4. Priority Decision Deadline - Consideration for scholarships and competitive programs will continue after priority deadlines if funding and/or space remain available.
  5. International Regular Decision Deadline - The application deadline for international students will be extended if space remains available.
  6. Firm Deadline - To be considered, students must have a complete application on file by this deadline.
  7. Refer to your Applicant Status Page for the deadline to accept your offer of admission.
