The University and the Union met for collective bargaining negotiations on April 26, 2024. The University presented counter proposals on Outside Employment and Professional Activities and No Strike/No Lockout, and the Union presented a new proposal on Artificial Intelligence.

The parties also exchanged counter proposals and reached tentative agreements on Facilities and Support, Union Access to Information and Facilities, and Health and Safety. With the tentative agreements reached at the most recent session, the University and the Union have now entered into eight tentative agreements.

The Union also posed questions regarding the University's April 17, 2024 Compensation proposal. The University's bargaining committee provided clarity regarding aspects of its Compensation proposal in response to several of the Union's questions, and will review the remaining and provide responses at upcoming bargaining sessions.

The University and the Union are scheduled to meet next on May 15, 2024.
