Undergraduate Research Forum

The Undergraduate Research Forum is a showcase of research and creative activity conducted by our undergraduate students under the guidance of faculty and graduate student mentors. The UR Forum event includes an in-person display of research posters during three poster sessions and ten-minute talks sessions throughout the day. Open to the public.

Miami University’s 33rd Annual Undergraduate Research Forum

Miami's celebration of collaborative learning builds on a rich tradition of showcasing scholarly and creative works conducted by our undergraduate students under the guidance of dedicated mentors (faculty, staff, and graduate students).

In-person, free, and open to the public all day.

Important Dates for Student Presenters

  • Registration for URF: February 8 – March 8
  • Complete Google Site (submit poster/presentation to ORU): Monday, April 19
  • Recommended poster printed deadline: Monday, April 19
  • Send 10-minute oral presentation to ORU: Wednesday, April 21
  • Undergraduate Research Forum: Friday, April 23

Miami's Undergraduate Research Forum website is an archive of presentations (project abstracts, gallery-walk images from the slides, images of poster and/or the ten-minute talk presentations, etc.) from 2024 and prior. Viewing is available to the public and the site is searchable by research topic, student major, participant name(s), keywords, STEM, etc.
