Miami encourages undergraduate students to explore and engage in research, creative works, and scholarly activities. Through partnerships with faculty mentors and staff, students can participate in programs and events that expand opportunities, recognize outstanding projects, and showcase undergraduate scholarship on campus and beyond.
Each undergraduate student will be paired with a graduate student to work together on a research project under the supervision of a faculty member in a Ph.D. granting department.

The Undergraduate Research Award program allows for individuals and teams from any major to request funding to support faculty-mentored undergraduate research, creative, and scholarly endeavors. Students can use awards for new ventures, to augment prior work, or in relation to an existing faculty project.

Miami's Undergraduate Research Forum is a celebration of collaborative learning which showcases scholarly and creative works conducted by undergraduate students, under the guidance of dedicated faculty, staff, and graduate student mentors.

The Undergraduate Summer Scholars program focuses on student-centered learning through mentored research during a 10-week summer program offering active, engaged educational experiences for undergraduate students.
