To further push students to develop their full potential, the Honors College offers and houses several prestigious opportunities for students.

National Fellowships and Awards

The Honors College is committed to assisting and advising all Miami students and alumni to identify, plan for, and win national fellowships and awards to pursue graduate school, study abroad, or professional development.

Honors Student Advisory Board

The Honors College advises the Honors Student Advisory Board (HSAB)HSAB is a student organization that serves as the link between the Honors student community and Honors College staff and faculty. HSAB has structured teams devoted to planning and programming a wide variety of events for the Honors community, such as formal and informal social events, service opportunities, student-faculty networking, health & wellness activities, Honors Residential College collaborations, and more. Joining HSAB provides all Honors students an opportunity to get involved on-campus and engaged in leadership right away!

Honors Study Abroad at MUDEC

The Honors College hosts a brand new, Honors-exclusive study abroad progra every winter and summer term at the Miami University Dolibois European Center (MUDEC), the Miami campus in Luxembourg. These exciting study abroad programs provide students with a unique and rewarding opportunity to study alongside other honors students with top Miami faculty in their respective fields. Urban Leadership Internship Program

Current Honors students in their second or third year may apply for the Urban Leadership Internship Program, an integrated educational internship program that combines professional practice, civic engagement and leadership development, and urban exploration in the Dayton community.
