Miami Pathways Program

Miami students enjoy life on campus

The Miami Pathways program is an exclusive opportunity for students to begin their college education taking classes at Miami's regional campus in Hamilton while living on the Oxford campus as part of a Living-Learning Community (LLC). Students begin taking classes on the Oxford campus in the spring semester of their first year after successful completion of program requirements. Pathways students enjoy full access to student resources and activities on Miami's Oxford campus, even during their first semester of coursework at the Hamilton regional campus.

What is the Pathways program?

Miami Pathways is a program for students who will take classes on the Hamilton campus and live on the Oxford campus. These students have solid academic records but are not admitted immediately to the selective Miami University main campus in Oxford. The program allows Pathways students to move from taking classes at the Hamilton campus to the Oxford campus as full-time students after one semester. Pathways students will enjoy benefits such as mentoring, living together in a Living-Learning Community, and an Oxford-based academic advisor.
