Create your own sterling silver ring in this fun, hands-on workshop! Designed for beginners, this three-hour community workshop introduces participants to basic jewelry-making and metalsmithing techniques.

You’ll learn how to measure, cut, shape, and solder sterling silver, then add texture or an etched design and finish your ring for a polished look.

No prior experience required. All necessary materials, tools, and safety equipment will be provided.

Discover the art of dyeing in this hands-on, beginner-friendly community workshop! Participants will explore natural dyes and learn techniques for creating beautiful colors and unique designs on silk scarves.

No prior experience is required. During this approximately eight-hour workshop, each participant will create two silk scarves to take home.

Discover the art of Viking Knit, a traditional wire-weaving technique used to create beautiful chain jewelry. In this hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop, students will learn the process of creating Viking Knit chain and transforming it into a finished bracelet.

The instructor will demonstrate each technique step-by-step, followed by hands-on practice with instructor support. Students will learn to prepare their materials, weave the wire, draw down the finished chain, and add beads and findings to complete their bracelet.

No prior experience required.

Workshop Details

• Time: 10 a.m.–5 p.m. (approximately 7 hours)
• Registration Fee: $85 per participant
• Supplies Fee: $65 per participant, paid to instructor on day of workshop

Supply kits include: copper wire in various sizes, a wooden dowel and weaving tools, a 5-strand template, copper beads and findings, and a lampwork glass focal bead. An instructional handout will also be provided.

By the end of the workshop, you'll have the skills to create a Viking Knit chain and the inspiration to use the technique in future jewelry projects—plus a finished bracelet to take home!
