What is a business fraternity?
I would consider a business fraternity an accelerator program. If you're looking to accelerate where you are now and improve fast to get where you want to be, a business fraternity is a great way to do it, because it offers you a wide national network of professionals that you can connect with.
What makes Business Honors classes different from regular classes?
You're surrounded by a community of students who are equally as driven as you, and that's just motivating in of itself and inspiring, because then you get to you get to see what other kids are doing to get ahead and what's giving them their edge in school. You can be inspired by that. As a student who's really motivated extrinsically, Business Honors is a great environment for me.
Which activity do you think has helped you grow more?
I think business honors and all these other business organizations are fantastic for building skills, but in my business fraternity is where I found the most opportunity to create something out of those skills. That's what I think is so special about the business fraternities is that they're not just going to teach you something, they're going to give you an experience to go out and use what you've learned, show off what you learned and see that pay off.
