Nunona is building the world’s first real-food supplement platform for the first 1,000 days, from conception through age two, replacing synthetic prenatal pills and ultra-processed baby nutrition with clean, clinically backed, whole-food products. The first 1,000 days represent the most critical window of nutritional programming, when the nutrients a mother, and later her child, consume shape lifelong health, immunity, and brain development. Despite its proven importance, most women remain deficient in key nutrients during this period. Founded by Miami University alumna Krista Maas de Villiers, a former Global Head of Marketing & Innovation for a leading infant-formula company, Nunona was created to close the gap between what science knows and what women and children actually receive during pregnancy and postpartum and early childhood, initially focusing on the first 50% of this window through maternal nutrition.
