Life in Peru: The Amazon and Machu Picchu In this course, students will have the opportunity to explore physiological realities and culture of people living in Peru. This includes modern Peruvians as well as the the Incans. Altitude has acute effects on human physiology but also influences culture because of available resources because of its effects on farming, livestock and surrounding environment. We will examine Incan culture as we visit various Inca ruins and holy sites. Students will also have the opportunity to investigate the cultural diversity of this country by exploring the Andes, Machu Picchu and verious religious and archiological sites with a group of locals. We will walk around the contrasting neighborhoods and discover the sights and sounds of its bustling markets and temples. KHN 499 (1 credit)
The Management and Culture of English Soccer The Management and Culture of English Football study abroad program is designed for students who are interested in exploring the relationship between management, culture, and the contemporary English football economy through an experiential learning environment. Miami University Global Brand Management and Storytelling in Ireland The Global Brand Management and Storytelling in Ireland study abroad program is designed for students who are interested in exploring how cross-cultural storytelling underpins the creation and growth of organizational brands through engaging content curation.
