A new scholarship has been established to honor David Shrider.

David Shrider, associate professor of finance at Miami University and director of Global Business Initiatives, died June 25 in Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve in Alaska.
Five Miami students named Gilman Scholars
Five Miami University students received Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarships to help fund their study abroad experiences this summer and during the coming academic year. The combined total awarded to these students is $20,000.
