Phishing alert: “Issues with your ID” and other messages send users to fraudulent login screen
The information security team has received numerous reports about a new scam email trying to lure folks into logging in to a false Miami service.
This email hints that there is an issue with your student ID and that you need to log in immediately to “avoid disruption in accessing email resources.” This is a common type of scam we see, but this one is particularly detailed, which could come across as more credible. Watch out!
For a full example of the phishing email, visit the IT News article.
Reminder: Send us your proposals for the Miami AI Symposium!
